💻 System Requirements

Before downloading, check that your device meets these requirements. ZZZ is well-optimized and runs smoothly even on mid-range hardware.

No special requirements — any PS5 console (Standard or Digital Edition) can run ZZZ at 60 FPS. Requires ~50 GB free space.

ZZZ supports cross-save across all platforms. You can start on PC and continue on mobile with the same account. Pick your primary platform below for detailed instructions.

💻 PC Installation Guide

There are two ways to install ZZZ on PC. Both support the same account and cross-save.

Method 1: HoYoPlay (Recommended)

1. Visit zenless.hoyoverse.com
2. Click "Download" and choose Windows
3. Run the HoYoPlay installer (the HoYoverse unified launcher)
4. After HoYoPlay installs, find Zenless Zone Zero in the launcher and click Install
5. Choose an install location with at least 60 GB of free space
6. Once downloaded, click Play to launch the game

Method 2: Epic Games Store

1. Open the Epic Games Launcher (install from epicgames.com if needed)
2. Search for "Zenless Zone Zero" in the store
3. Click "Get" (free) and then "Install"
4. Choose an install location with 60 GB free
5. Launch the game from your Epic Games Library
6. On first launch, you will be prompted to link or create a HoYoverse account

🍎 iOS Installation Guide

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad
2. Search for "Zenless Zone Zero" (or "open this link")
3. Tap "Get" and authenticate with Face ID / Touch ID
4. Wait for the download to complete (~12 GB initial, with additional in-game resources)
5. Open the app and follow the on-screen account setup

Note: iOS requires iOS 14.0 or later. iPad is fully supported with optimized UI. The game runs best on iPhone 11 and newer, or any iPad with an A12 Bionic chip or later.

📱 Android Installation Guide

1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device
2. Search for "Zenless Zone Zero" (or "open this link")
3. Tap "Install"
4. Wait for the download (~12 GB initial, additional resources in-game)
5. Open the app and follow account setup

Note: If ZZZ is not available in your region's Play Store, you can download the HoYoverse APK directly from zenless.hoyoverse.com. Enable "Install from unknown sources" in your device settings first.

🎮 PlayStation 5 Installation Guide

1. From the PS5 home screen, open the PlayStation Store
2. Search for "Zenless Zone Zero"
3. Select the game and click "Download" (free)
4. The download is ~50 GB. You can start playing after the initial download completes while remaining assets load in the background
5. On first launch, you will be prompted to create or link a HoYoverse account

PS5 Features: 60 FPS performance, DualSense haptic feedback, faster load times via SSD, and 4K output support.

Note: ZZZ is a PS5 exclusive on consoles. There is no PS4, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch version at this time.

🔐 Account Setup & Cross-Save

Creating a HoYoverse Account

You need a HoYoverse account to play ZZZ. If you have played Genshin Impact or Honkai: Star Rail, you can use the same account. Creating one is free:

1. On the game's login screen, select "Register"
2. Enter your email address and create a password
3. Verify your email (check spam folder)
4. Link a phone number for additional security (recommended)

Cross-Save Setup

To play on multiple devices with the same account:

• Log in with the same HoYoverse account on all platforms
• Your progress, characters, and purchases sync automatically
• Polychrome does NOT sync between PlayStation and other platforms — this is a known platform restriction. Polychrome earned on PS5 stays on PS5, and vice versa. Purchased Monochromes are also platform-locked.
• Everything else (agents, W-Engines, level progress, items) syncs seamlessly

🌐 Server Selection & First Launch

Choosing a Server

On first launch, you will be asked to select a server. This choice is permanent — you cannot transfer an account between servers later.

• America — Best for North/South America. English and Spanish communities.
• Europe — Best for Europe, Middle East, Africa. Multiple language communities.
• Asia — Best for East/Southeast Asia. Korean, Japanese, and Chinese communities.
• TW/HK/MO — Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau. Traditional Chinese community.

Pick the server closest to your physical location for the lowest ping. You can still play with friends on other servers — but you cannot transfer your characters between servers.

Initial Setup Tips

• Download all assets on Wi-Fi first — the full game with voice packs can exceed 25 GB on mobile. Use the in-game "Download All" option to avoid loading screens during gameplay.
• Choose your voice language: English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean are available. You can switch anytime in settings — no re-download required.
• Adjust graphics settings: On PC, the game auto-detects your hardware. If you experience stuttering, lower shadow quality and effects first — they have the biggest performance impact.
• Redeem codes early: Check our Codes page for active redemption codes before you start playing. New accounts benefit the most from free Polychrome and materials.

🛠️ Common Installation Issues

"Insufficient Storage" on Mobile

ZZZ requires ~20 GB. If you are short on space: delete unused apps, clear photo cache, or offload media to cloud storage. On Android, the initial Play Store download is only ~1 GB — the rest downloads in-game to your device storage.

Game Crashes on Launch (PC)

• Update your GPU drivers (NVIDIA GeForce Experience / AMD Adrenalin)
• Verify game files through the launcher (HoYoPlay: click the wrench icon → "Verify File Integrity")
• Run the launcher as Administrator
• Check Windows Defender / antivirus is not blocking the game executable

"Not Available in Your Region"

If ZZZ is not in your local app store, you can download it directly from the official website. On Android, use the APK download. On PC, the HoYoPlay launcher works worldwide.
