What are Bangboo in ZZZ?
Bangboo are AI companion creatures in Zenless Zone Zero. They provide passive buffs and unleash powerful active skills during combat. Each Bangboo belongs to an element and rank, and can be equipped to your squad for extra support.
How to get Bangboo?
Bangboo are obtained through the Bangboo gacha banner using Boopons (a special currency different from Polychromes/Master Tapes). You earn Boopons from events, Hollow Zero exploration, and progressing through the main story.
Which Bangboo are the best?

How do Bangboo skills work?

What's the difference between S-Rank and A-Rank Bangboo?
S-Rank Bangboo have stronger stats and more powerful active skills compared to A-Rank. However, A-Rank Bangboo are much easier to obtain and upgrade (dupes give extra skill levels). A fully upgraded A-Rank can sometimes outperform a base S-Rank.
Can Bangboo be upgraded?
Yes! Pulling duplicate Bangboo from the gacha grants Bangboo Data (their dupe material), which levels up their active skill. Higher skill levels increase damage, healing, or buff effectiveness depending on the Bangboo.
